Conditions for Use of Samples
TDK Corporation is providing Ag-stacked film samples and making basic information readily
available in order to assist our valued customers and potential customers in evaluating our new
transparent conductive film product. The sample sheets are 100% compliant with our full roll
products and are intended to be used as an engineering tool for evaluation only.
♦ Section 1 – Limited Use and Non-Disclosure
(1) Customers shall use the sample(s) only for appearance sample and basic evaluation,
and shall not use the sample(s) for any other purpose. If it is desired that sample sheets
be used in end products or for qualification purposes, TDK requires that controlled
samples be obtained for that purpose.
(2) Customers shall not disclose the sample(s), including, but not limited to, customer end
product(s) containing the TDK sample(s), to any third parties without prior written
consent of TDK.
(3) Customers shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or analyze the
sample(s) without prior written consent of TDK.
♦ Section 2 – No Warranty
(1) THE SAMPLE(S) SHALL BE PROVIDED AS IS. THE ACCURACY OR
COMPLETENESS OF THE SAMPLE(S), NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL
PROPERTY RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES, CONFERMANCE TO LAWS AND
REGULATIONS OR STANDARDS, OR THE RESULTS TO BE OBTAINED
THEREFROM IS NOT WARRANTED BY TDK. TDK ASSUMES NO LIABILITIES
ARISING FROM ANY USE OR MISUSE OF THE SAMPLE(S) TO CUSTOMERS AND
THIRD PARTIES.
(2) The sample(s) are to be provided only for the purpose of evaluation. This letter re-
emphasizes that these are uncontrolled samples and shall not be used for qualification
or end products and TDK requires controlled samples for those purposes.
(3) TDK reserves the right to change sample parameters without notice. This may include:
surface resistance, film thickness, sheet size, or other related properties.
